Enjoy the masterful strokes of color provided by artists Kathleen Lee and Tricia Patmore at the Sugar Creek Art Center beginning September 3. There will be an Exhibition opening that evening beginning at 6 p.m.

Tricia has been at art teacher for more than 30 years (19 of those years were at Lebanon High School). A Purdue University graduate with a B.A. in Art Education and an M.A. in Creative Arts, after retiring from teaching, she now has time to rediscover her love of painting and use of varied colors. Quilting and patterns are part of her influences as well as architecture. She finds inspiration is so many places. Seeing her artwork is proof her appreciation of all places around her.

Kathleen is an explorer. Born in England, grew up in Canada, moved to California, Illinois and currently in Lafayette, Indiana. After retirement, she started exploring painting and incorporating ink into her paintings. She teaches classes in Lafayette, and is extremely busy assuring that each painting is an exploration between movement, mood and materials. She continues to utilize a variety of paint, ink, texture and more that can been seen in all of her colorful artwork.
